Describe the occupancy and whether the building stays on a permanent foundation. Include the number of houses and storeys, each floor plan’s overall length and width, and any layout features that cannot change. For example, a two-bedroom expandable module with a fixed plumbing wall needs a different quote from a shell delivered without bathroom fittings.
Use the design basis your project team has issued. Label wind speed with units and give the source, list roof and ground snow separately where available, and name the seismic basis. A catalog sheet that gives 0.50 kPa for a wall screen does not provide enough information to set a roof criterion. Leave unknown values marked as pending rather than copying figures from a search result.
Separate the finish scope from the installation scope. Record who supplies sanitary fittings, who makes the utility connection at the marriage line and who checks the foundation interface. Name your destination port and state whether the last leg has trailer length, overhead clearance or crane access limits.
Include the target delivery window and indicate whether a sample unit or a first-unit inspection should come before the batch. Flag the documents that purchasing cannot release without, such as a supplier certificate scope, a revised drawing or a container loading plan. These are checkpoints for the quotation and do not replace approval by the parties responsible for the building.
