Technical services
We coordinate China supplier matching for prefabricated homes, normalize quotations and arrange sample and inspection requests. A common revision connects the supplier’s offer to the buyer’s brief. Consolidation and export coordination use a separate packing and shipment record.
Treat the catalog screen as an input for shortlisting. Ask each candidate to identify which values it has assumed, and have the destination project team confirm which design criteria apply. The numbers shown below illustrate different fields in a comparison and are not product performance claims.
| Item | Screened model | Project calculation |
|---|---|---|
| Wind | 0.50 kPa service pressure used to check a 50 mm wall family | Design wind speed from the local code, example band 45 m/s when the brief says so |
| Snow | Not included in the 0.50 kPa wall screen | Ground snow load, example 1.5 kN/m2, with drift rules if the roof steps |
| Seismic | Not stated | Seismic design basis such as 0.30 g, when the geotechnical note supplies it |
| Envelope | 50 mm panel, core unnamed | 50-100 mm wall, U-value target 0.25-0.60 W/m2K, thermal bridge at the rim called out |
| Code path | None | Relocatable building or permanent modular construction, chosen with the authority having jurisdiction |
Volumetric modules can arrive with more interior work complete. Folding or panelized units can fit a denser load, but leave more joints for the site crew. Before pricing either route, ask for the measured shipping envelope, actual gross weight, container loading plan and foundation interface.
These checkpoints describe what to capture from the shortlisted supplier before production release. The buyer agrees the inspection scope and acceptance criteria with the supplier and inspection provider.
For CFS studs and heavier steel members, request the grade, mill certificate, and a link from heat or coil number to part identification. Record which components fall outside the traceability request.
Compare galvanizing and paint by exposure class, coating mass or film thickness, and weld repair instructions. Where Z275 is specified, ask for the supplier record and verify which pieces it covers.
A welded frame retains more shop assembly but occupies more shipping space. A bolted knock-down frame may pack more tightly and requires field fit and torque checks. Ask who records inspection of the connection after assembly.
Request a first-unit review before a batch is released. Compare lifting-point coordinates, hole patterns and panel thickness against the drawing revision. Record and resolve discrepancies with the supplier before the buyer accepts the next stage.
Ask for a document list with an issuer, revision and intended use for each item. Supplier capabilities, certificates and technical approvals must be checked for the specific sourcing request.
Request module mass, packed and deployed dimensions, wall construction and the supplier drawing number. Compare the product data against the quoted scope before asking for samples.
Provide wind, snow and seismic inputs where available. Give the reference and units for each value and have the responsible project engineer confirm them.
Collect lifting points, set order and foundation interface drawings from the supplier. Ask the carrier and destination installer to confirm where their work starts and ends.
Track which standards the supplier cites, which records can be checked, and which project approvals still require review by the local team.
Share the destination, quantity and release milestones. We can prepare a common request for quotation and an evidence checklist for shortlisted suppliers.
